On November 17th I listened to an interview with Paula Poundstone's on Mother Jones Radio that provides some very interesting information about what actually gets people to do something to prevent global warming
According to Paula, research shows people are more likely act to undo global warming if the things they are supposed to do are public and visible to others.
I was very encouraged when I heard this because I had come to a very similar conclusion a few years ago.
I had watched a movie called "A Force More Powerful," which is a PBS documentary about successful non-violent mass movements in the 20th century.
After watching the documentary it seemed clear that all the successful mass movements consisted in large part of individual and collective actions that were highly visible to the public.
Given this I could use your help showing people how they can prevent global warming by taking visible action...
Would you please use the comments field below to share with me and the rest of the ACoolerClimate.com subscribers the answer to the following question:What visible and public actions are you involved in, or do you want to be involved in, in order to help prevent global warming?
Adios,

Nathan Brown
P.S. Once you post your comments they'll be publicly visible to everyone who sees this page ;-)
